OYO Instruments is a leading designer and manufacturer of electronics and equipment used in the acquisition and processing of seismic data.  OYO Instruments has been designing and manufacturing acquisition systems and plotters (under the OYO Instruments name, and previously as part of the Geo Space Corporation) since the early 1960's.  The company markets its seismic instruments and equipment to the oil and gas industry and to other geo-technical businesses on a worldwide basis.

OYO Instruments was incorporated in 1993 to provide design and manufacturing focus to the acquisition systems and thermal imaging product lines.   New products and improvements have been produced for the seismic core market on a regular basis since then, with the latest introduction being a high performance 600 dpi film plotter.

OYO Instruments entered the graphics film output and prepress market in 1994 with a direct thermal imagesetter.  We have continued to improve the product offering for this business segment, introducing closed loop registration control and 600 by 1200 dpi resolution imagesetters in 1998 and true 1200 dpi resolution in 2002.
